Guest Post by Kelli Woody - Founder of The Purpose Pursuit
This June we are planning on shooting our very first film in Ethiopia. We are working with a nonprofit organization called I Pour Life, who focuses on empowering women with leprosy or HIV/Aids in the community of Korah to help them create sustainable lifestyles. They teach 10 women a trade over the course of 10 months - this allows the women to start a bank account and create a job for them self in order to thrive not only for themselves but for their families.
We want to capture their story and heart behind the operation in order to shed light on what's happening in this part of the world. Their stories deserve to be heard and we feel as though this is our way of doing that for them. In order for one of our co-founders and production team to go we need to raise $10,000 - that's why we are unbelievably grateful to partner with Kintigo and work together to make this happen.
